Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Salary: $15 per hour ACIDD is
looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work in homes and
in day programs in the community among individuals that have
developmental disabilities and mental health issues. ACIDD supports
high functioning individuals that sometimes exhibit negative
behaviors because of their mental health status. We turn their
behaviors into positive behaviors without even using behavior
plans. Our individuals generally do not have chronic medical
issues, physical disabilities, or explicit mental health problems.
Therefore, the staff that we are hiring must be more companions to
the young individuals that they support in the community. If you
are the right person to work with our individuals, then you should
have a passion for working with them. We do not encourage
babysitting them but supporting them to be independent. We expect
new staff to provide proper guidance to our individuals and teach
them skills based on their needs. Our wages are very competitive
and our benefits are good for the employees. We pay well. We pay
