Join our team for an unforgettable and exciting outdoor teaching experience! Availability Programs run from mid-June through early September . Required participation for the entire duration of the program, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 am2:00 pm. Applicants must be available until mid to late August . Note: We are unable to provide housing at this time. Additional program locations, schedules, and available positions can be found at www.marinesciencecamp.com. Responsibilities Support Staff will assist Lead Scientists in conducting engaging lessons, activities, and discussions focused on marine science and conservation. Support Staff will help care for attendees with a range of both physical and mental abilities, working independently with attendees if needed Support Staff will oversee the setup, maintenance, and organization of program materials and supplies. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for program participants. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality educational experiences. Adapt to varying outdoor settings and independently lead small groups when necessary. Ensure the safety and well-being of participants throughout the program. Qualifications Passionate about conservation and our oceans A degree in marine sciences, biology, education , or a closely related field is preferred. First Aid and CPR certification is preferred. Previous experience in scientific fieldworkor teaching is preferred. Ability to lead and conduct program activities in an outdoor setting . Strong communication and organizational skills .
