• Make impact on the company`s demand planning and procurement business.About Our ClientThis is a leading over-the-counter drug company specializing in private-label store brands. As a prime manufacturer, marketer, and distributor, we serve a broad range of retailers across drug, food, mass, and club channels.Job DescriptionPlanning:
  • Analyzing customer forecasts for existing and new customers
  • Track and reconcile weekly forecasts shared by customers
  • Finalize and recalibrate long term supply plan according to forecasts
  • Keep bird eye view track of incoming timelines for Bulk and Components
  • Reconcile bulk and components ordering quantities
  • Finalize on sourcing and specifications of bulk/ components ordering
    
    Customer Engagement:
    • Tracking shipments, On-hands Finish Goods Inventory(the quantity of completed products currently available and ready to be shipped to customers.), and ongoing production schedule
    • Tracking fulfilment with commitment to customers
    • Preparing update on shipments, production, inventory for customer discussions
    • Coordinate with planning team to access viability of requests
    • Coordinate and respond to ad hoc requests
      
      Vendor Engagement:
      • RFQ(Request For Quotation) and negotiations for bulk and components with vendors
      • Coordinate to finalize vendor mix based on pricing, service quality, etc.
      • Coordinating with vendors in case of escalation or issues
        
        Finance:
        • Create AOP(Annual Operation Plan) for the upcoming year
        • Support in finalizing budget and cashflows for upcoming year
        • Validating information of invoices and dues before payment
          
          Production:
          • Clear coordination of priorities with production workforce
          • Ensuring production schedule to be followed based on priorities and feasibility
          • Optimize production schedule for maximum efficiency
          • Minimize wastage of components and rejections
            
            Administration:
            • Establishing and improving overall standard operational practices
            • Conflict management between internal departments or stakeholders
            • Support in decision-making in any tasks of end-to-end value chain

              • Solid supply chain management experience from Pharmaceutical Distributors, Pharmaceutical manufactures or relevant consulting firms, who should have managed supply chain working with large retail, pharmacy customers
              • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to managing different stakeholders
              • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
              • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
              • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior management
              • Advanced Education degree is required
              • Can 100% work on site in Ronkonkoma, New YorkWhat's on Offer
