Salary: $95,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Logistics Manager

• Bachelors in Supply Chain or Business Management
• 5+ years experience in Manufacturing or 3PL -Our manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our entire logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of our raw materials and finished products through our supply chain. The Logistics Manager will work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that all logistics functions are operating efficiently and effectively.Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the transportation and delivery of raw materials and finished products
  • Plan and execute logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers, including carriers and freight forwarders
  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for transportation and distribution
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing inventory holding costs
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability of deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation, environmental, and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on logistics activities
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the logistics process to enhance efficiency and reduce costsQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and supply chain management
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Proficient in using logistics software and systems
