Job Description We are looking for a Commercial Plumber to join our team. Must have knowledge in the practice of materials used in the installation, maintenance and alteration of new and renovation construction plumbing systems including venting, water distribution, plumbing fixtures and commercial waste piping. Job Duties: include, but are not limited to the following: Digging Soldering Core drilling Rough-in; reading blueprints and specification sheets Accurate use of a tape measure Good knowledge of basic math, including fractions Knowledge of current IBC plumbing code Copper, PVC, and Cast Iron installations Sanitary systems and venting Shower pan installations Proper heights, strapping and support of stub-outs Proper sealing of all openings (rodent proof) Problem solving/troubleshooting Installation of fixtures Testing procedures of completed work (ensuring work passes inspections) Thorough clean-up of job site Any reasonable task assigned by supervisor or management Qualifications: Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field (3 years ) Ability to read blueprints and schematics Ability to handle physical workload Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver license Reliable transportation Company Description FMA Contracting and Mechanical Construction is a multi trade company doing mostly Commercial work.
