The Staff Coordinator is an integral part the team and is responsible for:

1. Maintain Health Center schedules, both master and daily schedules. This includes replacing all call outs to maintain adequate staff.

2. Record all call outs for HCC.

3. Review all requests for time off and track benefit time before approval of time. Review with DON

4. Weekly tracking of payroll, in detail for nursing departments and have information to Payroll Coordinator in a timely manner.

5. Update and maintain telephone lists for department

6. Maintain extra shift list for adequate staffing and approve according to guidelines set by Union Contract.

7. Have an updated knowledge of the Union Contract.

8. Print necessary paperwork, as needed, to maintain even flow of all schedules.

9. Answering incoming call to Nursing Administration Office.

10. Assist Human resources, as needed, with licensure updates, PPD's and other employee related needs.

11. Schedule all new hires and place them on Holiday Schedule maintaining adequate coverage for units.

12. Track agency usage on a daily basis and review all bills for accuracy as the agencies bill. Review with DON.

13. Order nursing supplies as needed.

14. Any clerical duties needed for the Nursing Administration Office.

15. Follows HIPAA Rules and Regulations and Values and Expectations upon hire and reviewed annually.

16. Complete nursing hours and PPD weekly.

17. Post daily staffing numbers and ratios (compliance with DOH regulations).

18. Participates in orientation of new employees, to include touring the facility.

19. Send all agency hours to payroll daily for PBJ posting.

20. Track time and attendance as per HR policy and Union Contract. Review with DON and complete disciplinary as indicated.

21. Other Duties as assigned.
