Job Description The Volunteer department of Jewish Family &
Children---s Service is looking for a part-time multi-tasker with
excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong work
ethic, effective teamwork, experience with volunteer programs, and
demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive
environment. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate
volunteers for in-person weekly and holiday meal packing,
distribution, and delivery, and to provide administrative support
for certain volunteer programs including collecting updated
volunteer qualifications, an annual gift drive, and monthly
birthday card initiative. Candidates should be willing to handle
office tasks including phone calls, email, uploading auto
information into an electronic record system, updating spreadsheets
in Excel, entering deliveries for large holidays into software, and
aid in tracking volunteer hours. To be successful in this role, the
candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, professional and
attentive. Must be comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and
Word. Creativity a plus. Responsibilities: Coordinating in-person
volunteer activities including, but not limited to meal packing,
distribution, and delivery for both weekly orders and for large
holidays, maintain up-to-date auto qualifications on existing
volunteers, aide with database management, and providing
administrative support for certain volunteer programs and events.
Requirements: Highly organized and strong interpersonal skills
required. Attention to detail a must. Job Type: Part-Time (28
