DescriptionThe HR Coordinator administers Human Resources programs across CMI Media Group and Compas. This position provides administrative support to the HR function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, program execution). The HR Coordinator also ensures reports, files, and programs are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations. This position is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of human resources/personnel data and information our organization uses to execute on HR programs, strategies, and recommendations. In addition, this position, acts as a point of customer service, assisting employees with questions regarding HR programs, policies, and other employment information. The HR Coordinator ensures operational efficiencies by supporting the Human Resources function at CMI Media Group and Compas. GeneralAssist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employeesPerforms a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reportsPerforms customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions, procedures, recruiting, development, benefits, compensation, RTO, etc.Prepares and utilizes company and HR bulletin board, company newsletters, and other vehicles to communicate information to employeesBenefits Participate in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and approving invoices for payment; assists with COBRA administrationAssist in annual open enrollment period, arrange for distribution of materials from carriersAssist with communicating changes to employees and coordinate on-site representation by providersParticipate in employee presentationsProcess and track FMLA leave time and paperworkStaffing SupportManage checklists and operational responsibilities for with internal teams to ensure properly onboarded employeesMaintain job description files; assist in creation and updates of descriptionsCreate and post job openings internally and externallyParticipate in interviews for administrative employeesParticipate and coordinate in employee onboarding and orientation processAssist in exit interview process including, but not limited to, maintaining administrative documentation, providing answers to employee questions, and assisting with scheduling meetingsEmployee RelationsAct as liaison to employees in matters of policy or proceduresParticipate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminarsCoordination and execution of CMI/Compas Employee Recognition programsTrainingAssist in coordination and facilitation of organizational training and development efforts - scheduling, tracking, calendars, ordering materials, compile/edit program materials, etc.Coordinate on and offsite meeting arrangementsHuman Resources SupportBenefits AdministrationCoordinate health and benefit meetings/fairsLegal and Ethical ComplianceDevelop and maintain a knowledge of existing HR and employment laws, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc... to effectively maintain employment records and recommend process changesDevelop and maintain an understanding of CMI/Compas' (inclusive of WPP's) ethical and behavioral programs, and ensure tracking of employee completionAdditional Operational SupportManage the purchase order process and documentation for HRParticipate in the annual budgeting process ALL FOR GOOD CMI Media Group and Compas were built on inclusion and diversity.
