Description: Will perform as an adjunct to the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in the Cherry Hill, Advanced Technology Laboratories. Coordinates, implements and monitors Information System Security controls such as policies and procedures plus technical configurations, in accordance with Risk Management Framework per Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), Joint DoDIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD-s), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Information Guides (STIG), and other DoD issuances. Assist with preparing security plans, procedures and other artifacts in accordance with company and government standards. Support the evaluation of information technology security mechanisms and processes against corporate and government regulations to include assessment or certification of technical configurations, consulting as required with information technology architects, administrators, and functional experts who are responsible to accomplish the engineering, design, operation and hands-on implementation of computing environments. Perform day-to-day operations, such as review of audit logs and continuous monitoring tools for IT systems to identify anomalies, hacking, or insider threats. Work with peers in related Security disciplines to develop, coordinate, publish, and maintain a common body of training materials, standards, directives, policies and procedures to enhance the local security program protecting classified and sensitive information. Build strong relationships within the Security organization and IT staff to hone best practices and drive consistency, and also coordinate with program management. Basic Qualifications: - In-scope Top Secret clearance - Knowledge of or experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) such as Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and continuous monitoring implementation, along with working knowledge of Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems in a compliance role. - Experience as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Assurance Manager (IAM), Information Assurance Officer (IAO), or equivalent. - Must have at least one certification that qualifies per DoDD 8570, at minimum level 2 technical and/or level 1 management such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) CE, Security+CE, Network+CE, SANS GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). - Experience completing System Security Plans per the JSIG RMF, National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) 6-3 or similar. - Excellent communication skills Desired Skills: - Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) under Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), to include continuous monitoring and processes/documentation to address insider threats. - Ability to work effectively with the security team and IT support professionals in establishing or following common technical configurations, manual processes and procedures, plus demonstrating creativity and contributions to a larger organization. Technical, organizational, project lead and incident handling skills. - Helpful to have familiarity with Defense Security Service, US Department of Defense Cybersecurity, Information Security or Information Assurance compliance programs, ideally in a Special Access Program environment. - Experience with maintaining government classified network connected enclaves such as Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline. - Experience with National Security Agency encryption technology and Communications Security (COMSEC) procedures and applications.
