Engineer Team Lead to join our team ! Work Location: Annapolis
Junction, MD Telework Availability: TBD Team Lead Duties Include:
Lead a team of developers supporting and enhancing a suite of
complex web applications and services that provide content
management and collaboration in support of critical missions.
Analyze and manage requirements and external dependencies, update
product roadmap, and supervise development in a Kanban-based
process. Improve software and system architecture for improved
efficiency and reliability. Provide after hours, on-call Tier III
support as needed, in coordination with organizations providing
Tier I and Tier II support. Document and update data models,
schemas, APIs, and other technical specifications as needed.
Provide subject matter expertise to address technical questions
from users. Administer, maintain, and implement policies and
procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the
database(s) Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance
w/polygraph 20 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science or related discipline Five (5) years of experience
may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree Experience with
consuming and writing web services Experience with generating
technical documentation Experience with writing Linux based scripts
for code integration and cron jobs using Bourne Shell, C, or Python
and work in a command line environment Experience working in an
Agile software development environment Experience managing software
code using Git & MAVEN Experience using with Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications: Technical experience with: Java Spring
Javascript NodeJS jQuery Angular 2 MongoDB Elastic Stack 20 years’
experience with: Serving as the technical lead of software
development teams Development of software solutions by analyzing
system performance standards Assisting with development and
execution of test procedures for software components Ensuring
quality control of all developed and modified software Delegate
programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and
monitoring their performance Writing or reviewing software system
