Job Description: Join our team of talented engineers in the Fort Meade area supporting critical national security programs. As a full-stack software engineer, you’ll use a wide range of technologies spanning front-end user interfaces, RESTful web services, Java back-end services, and multiple databases (both relational and NoSQL). At Phoenix, you’ll be continuously challenged to expand your technical skill set in support of our core mission, “Arming the analyst”. This position will support multiple programs and is open to all candidate levels (junior, mid-level, and senior). A typical day includes engineering activities across a mid-sized team, developing new capabilities, addressing critical defects, interfacing with mission SMEs, and conducting Scrum activities (stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos/retrospectives). This multi-disciplinary team collaborates daily to meet demanding technical and mission needs.
