Job Description:

Lockheed Martin, a leader in global security and aerospace, is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our IT & Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions that support our mission of innovation and security. You will work in a collaborative environment where inclusivity and teamwork are valued, and where you can develop systems that make a difference on a global scale. This position offers the opportunity to engage with advanced technology systems and contribute to projects that integrate complex information systems and software engineering solutions. Develop, test, and maintain software across the stack from front-end UI to back-end services using various programming languages including but not limited to JavaScript, Python, and Java. Collaborate with project teams to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications. Ensure the scalability and reliability of the software infrastructure. Write high-quality, clean, and efficient code that complies with company coding standards. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize performance. Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology. Proficient in several programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#. Experience with both front-end and back-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Ruby on Rails, or .NET. Understanding of databases such as SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) and methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
