background.This position is for an experienced professional
Software Engineer on the the Oasis software team. The candidate
will develop software using C++ and Java in a dynamic and
collaborative Agile environment supporting the full lifecycle of
complex state-of-the-art systems that are deployed across the
globe. Our challenging and dynamic environment represent real-world
challenges such as simulating the entire Aegis Combat System,
developing tactical software for tactical Radar Control Programs,
and developing applications to support data analysis and mission
outcome. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to a
wide variety of projects as our business needs evolve including
Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD), DevSecOps,
Automation, and other Digital Transformation initiatives.The role
includes being a product subject matter expert, developing
Engineering Cost Packages for proposal initiatives, performing
project leadership in an agile environment, presenting monthly
Manager Software Engineering Program (MSEP) status, and develop
Project Completion Reports (PCR). The specific title of the
candidate may be Lead SW Engineer, Baseline Development Lead or
Product Owner, depending on the candidate selected.The candidate
should be capable of working in a team. You will work closely with
stakeholders to understand customer requirements and priorities, as
well as prioritizing and grooming the team's backlog. You will use
modern tools and engineering practices to develop both new
capabilities and support continuing improvement on deployed
systems. They will use C++ to support real-time multi-threaded
processing and Java for the human machine interface (HMI)
applications. Python is used extensively for managing software
build and data analysis.The work exposes the candidate to high
level customer requirements, engineering Monte Carlo analysis,
software design, software implementation, test, delivery, and in
service support.A candidate for this position will have the
opportunity to travel if desired. Engineers support onsite
installation and mission critical exercises in Virginia, California
(both San Diego and San Francisco), Washington, and Hawaii. We also
support systems sold to international customers in Japan, Korea,
Australia, Spain, Norway, and the Marshall Islands.Our center

through the Lead Software Engineering Development Qualification
Program and just in time technical training. There are
opportunities for Scrum Masters and Product Owners leadership

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent
engineering/technical degree with a background in computer science.
The ability to work in an accelerated team environment with proven
proficiency in full lifecycle software development with a minimum
of two (2) years of professional experience.-The candidate must
have a strong understanding of C++ programming, software
engineering processes, and software product life cycle. The
candidate must have demonstrated experience in DSO
technologies/tools and test automation Experience with Linux
Occasional travel may be required. Candidate must be able to obtain
and maintain a secret security clearanceDesired Skills: Interest in
Lead Software Engineer (LSWE) opportunities Master's degree in
Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering. Experience
with Java and Python Experience with Network Topology
Configuration, Modeling Tools, Static Code Analysis tools desired.
Experience with Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, and/or Umlet
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket,
Crucible, Confluence) or Gitlab Experience with Static Code
Analysis tools such as Coverity, Fortify or SonarCube Experience
with React, Angular, node.Js frameworks Experience writing secure
code Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification a plus
Experience with code repositories such as Git Experience with Test
Automation Frameworks (Robot, Junit, Sikuli) Familiarity with Model
Based Engineering Experience with Virtual Machines Experience with
Cloud Platform providers (Amazon Web Services, Azure) Experience
with Containerization and Orchestration
(Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift) Proven Proficiency developing
microservices and the strangler pattern Experience with UML
