- Title: -Human Resources Manager
- Ideal Candidate: -The ideal candidate for this role will have
5+ years of HR Business Partner/Management experience, preferably
supporting teams in a manufacturing/warehouse environment,
including salaried and hourly employees and various work
shifts.
- Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F

Description:The HR Manager will direct and conduct day-to-day
operations of all HR related functions including recruiting,
benefits, onboarding, training, leave of absence administration,
compliance, terminations, payroll, and employee relations. - This
position will work in partnership with manufacturing and corporate
HR team members to determine required people resources, training
needs, and succession planning for site specific business needs. -
The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping the culture
needed to succeed in a highly competitive environment. -Essential
Functions:
- Lead and implement all corporate HR initiatives for the site
and serve as HR business partner to the site leadership team and
management
- Act as a trusted advisor to management, serve as an advocate
for employees and create and promote a strong workplace culture by
upholding our Company values, policies, and procedures
- Ensure policies and procedures are upheld consistently and work
with the HR and Leadership teams as necessary to update policies
and procedures
- Address and resolve employee relations issues including
conducting investigations, partnering with the HR leadership team
as needed, and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborate with the corporate HR team to create and implement
staffing strategies including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and
onboarding, collaborate with managers to understand skills and
competencies required for openings
- Evaluate employee engagement regularly including walking the
production areas daily to check in with associates and
managers
- Share observations, and trends with the site leadership team
and that foster employee engagement, inclusivity and improve
retention
- Initiate succession planning and retention discussions and
develop strategies to retain high potential talent and attract new
talent
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies
and practices to maintain compliance
- Manage leave of absence, Workers Compensation, and ADA process
and partner with the Safety team on OSHA compliance and
documentation
- Support, coach, and train management on all performance
management needs
- Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process
- Analyze and report on HR metrics including time to fill roles,
retention, and turnover
- Ensure that general employee inquiries and questions are
addressed promptly
- Seeks and implements continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies and local, state,
and federal laws and regulations by reviewing and managing the
accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR-documents
- May be assigned projects and/or other duties outside of normal
job functions to meet the needs and demands of the business.
-Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner/Management
experience supporting teams in a manufacturing/warehouse
environment that includes salaried and hourly employees and various
work shifts
- Proactive, a self-starter, and independent thinker with the
ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment and
prioritize tasks
- Proven track record demonstrating the following: strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to handle
confidential information, excellent verbal and written
communication skills and high attention to detail
- Solid listening skills to gather information for
understanding
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and
regulations
- Strong technical aptitude utilizing multiple web-based
applications, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally to corporate location and other sites
4-6 times per year for meetings
- May need to support the business on occasional weekends and
evenings -Education/Certifications:
- BS in Human Resources Management or related field, or
equivalent HR experience
- Advanced Degree a plus
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SCP - preferredSafety:

- Work Environment: This position requires one to work both in an
office environment and a manufacturing facility. There is a
moderate level of noise, heat, cold, dust, dirt and fumes in the
manufacturing setting. - Employee may be exposed to varying
