LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a local Healthcare
organization in their search for a Payroll Specialist. This is a
direct hire opportunity, reporting onsite to their office in Cherry
Hill, NJ. The main responsibility will be processing payroll for
300+ employees and assisting the accounting dept with other basic
accounting tasks.This company is rapidly growing and looking to
double in size over the next couple years! Primary Duties and
- Complete payroll and record biweekly payroll entries, monitor
PTO and PTO/payroll accruals.
- Set up and manage state and local taxes within the payroll
- Entering payroll information and maintaining payroll
- Calculating salaries, overtime earnings, and vacation
- Issuing paychecks in a timely manner.
- Updating payroll systems, including employment hires and
- Preparing payroll and tax reports for federal, state, and local
agencies when required.
- Attending to payroll inquiries from employees
- Process accounts payable invoices ensuring they are properly
allocated to various locations and departments.
- Process accounts receivable activity, post payments and follow
collections procedures for unpaid bills.
- Other projects, as assigned. Qualifications / Requirements: 5+
years of processing payrollKnowledge of PA and NJ payroll
guidelines and lawsA minimum of 2 years of professional experience,
ideally in a healthcare setting.A strong work ethic and attention
to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
