Job Description:

As an OTR Class A Tanker Driver at Clean Harbors, you will handle the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste while complying with all safety and environmental policies. You will ensure timely delivery across North America, maintaining the highest standards of service in support of Clean Harbors’ commitment to environmental sustainability and safety. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Inspect vehicle condition before and after trips, reporting any necessary repairs to maintain high safety standards. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers. Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible. Ability to handle hazardous materials safely Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations Strong time management and route management skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain operational logs Physical ability to handle extended periods of driving Medical Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A Tanker endorsement (N or X) Hazmat endorsement preferred Clean driving record
