Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Med Surg Float Pool Nurse/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 3 × 12-hour shifts, NOC (19:00 – 07:30), 36 hours/week. Every other weekend required. /n/nJob Description/n The Med Surg Float Pool Nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Float between all inpatient Medical-Surgical units, including step down and emergency department (for med surg holds). /n - Orient at the main campus on the start date and participate in a short orientation at affiliated units. /n - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on standard Med Surg units, with potential variations based on unit acuity and staffing. /n - Adhere to all hospital policies, including attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience. /n - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHHS certifications. /n - Strong proficiency in EPIC. /n - Ability to float between multiple units comfortably. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
