MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide personalized in-home care to patients in Prince George's County on a PRN basis. As part of our patient-first healthcare services, this role requires adapting to different home environments and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' quality of life. Assess patient conditions by conducting physical tests and evaluations to determine muscular, neuromuscular, skeletal, and cardiopulmonary impairments. Develop tailored treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions such as muscle reeducation, pain management, and mobility enhancement. Educate patients and families on post-therapy care and wellness management. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure consistency of care. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Proficiency in designing and applying therapeutic techniques Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and improvements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and handle a varying workload Adept in using therapy equipment and safety guidelines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. CPR certified.
