MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization
in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, is seeking a dedicated RN
Manager for our Maternal Infant Case Management & Care Coordination
Program. This role focuses on leading a team dedicated to the
highest quality of care for both mother and infant. As a pivotal
leader, you will ensure effective case management and care
coordination, promoting optimal outcomes tailored to
patient-specific needs. Ideal candidates will possess a strong
background in maternal health, superior leadership abilities, and a
commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Direct and
oversee the daily operations of the maternal infant case management
and care coordination program. Develop, implement, and evaluate
policies and procedures related to maternal and infant health.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and
comprehensive care services. Manage department budget and resources
to optimize both staff performance and patient outcomes. Conduct
regular staff meetings and trainings to ensure compliance with
current healthcare regulations and standards. Evaluate program
effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve patient
care and services. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and
healthcare providers to ensure a smooth continuum of care. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of maternal and infant
health care practices Proficiency in case management software and
patient care systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of
practice. Certification in Case Management (CCM) preferred.
