Job Description:
MedStar Health seeks a compassionate and dedicated RN Homecare
Resident to join our team in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region.
This role is crucial for providing nursing care in a
patient-centered environment, where you will be directly
contributing to the health and well-being of patients in their
homes. Responsibilities include patient assessment, wound care,
medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary
team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Join us in transforming

community members. Conduct initial patient assessments and create
care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Administer medications, manage pain, and deliver wound care as
prescribed. Educate patients and their families on health
care-related topics. Regularly evaluate patient care plans and make
adjustments as necessary. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and
records of patient care. Ensure that all healthcare activities are
carried out in accordance with established legal, quality, and
regulatory requirements. Strong clinical skills in a wide range of
nursing procedures Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating
with patients and their families Ability to work autonomously and
make appropriate care decisions Proficiency in electronic health
record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice CPR certification required Valid driver’s
license and dependable transportation
