together. The Director of Pharmacy will lead all aspects of
pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and
supervising services in alignment with hospital policies,
professional standards, and regulatory requirements. You will
collaborate with hospital leadership to implement innovative
pharmacy practices, supported by proprietary CPS software, a
dedicated support team including experts in operations, clinical,
and regulatory as well as a CPS Area Director or Senior Vice
President. About the Facility: Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital
is a joint venture between Universal Health Services and Lancaster
General Health/Penn Medicine. The 128-bed facility will feature
Lancaster County's only dedicated inpatient unit for adolescents,
as well as a dedicated women's trauma unit, for sexual assault
victims or women with a history of traumatic injuries because of
domestic violence. Slated to open in mid-2018, the hospital will
also offer day-treatment services for adolescent, dual-diagnosis,
older adult, and substance-abuse patients. Pharmacy automation
includes EPIC and Omnicell. About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is
open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-5:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday from 8:00
am-12:00 pm Primary Responsibilities: - Provide strategic
leadership and oversight for all pharmacy services within a single
hospital, aligning operations with the hospital's clinical,
quality, and financial goals - Ensure safe, effective, and
evidence-based medication use, overseeing clinical pharmacy
practice, medication safety, and formulary management - Lead,
develop, and hold accountability for pharmacy leadership and staff,
including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams -
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal
requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and
state/federal laws - Oversee pharmacy financial performance,
including budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and
cost-containment initiatives - Collaborate with executive
leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders, supporting
system-wide patient care, quality, and safety initiatives - Drive
innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth,
leveraging data, technology, and best practices to advance pharmacy

Qualifications: - ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD
preferred) - Active Pennsylvania state Pharmacist license in good
standing - 3 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care
hospital setting - Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional
publications and involvement with professional organizations Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to local labor
markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive

incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to
$193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all
