Job Description:
Job Description Annual Salary of about $230k-$300k (varies
depending on years of experience) A leading healthcare institution
in the NY Metropolitan region is seeking a full-time Inpatient
Psychiatrist to join its adult psychiatric service. This role is
embedded within a structured, supportive inpatient setting with a
multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and advanced
practice providers. The unit is academically affiliated and serves
as a training site for residents. Position Highlights: Full-time
clinical role on an inpatient adult unit Collaborative team
including experienced psychiatrists and NPs Academic faculty
appointment with a well-regarded medical school Board Certification
required (or Board Eligible if recently trained) Leadership
opportunity for experienced candidates No on-call responsibilities
Moonlighting opportunities available on-site Requirements: Medical
degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of an
accredited psychiatry residency program Board Certification in
Psychiatry (or Board Eligibility if recently trained) Eligibility
for medical licensure in the state of New York Clinical experience
in adult inpatient psychiatry Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Demonstrated interest in medical education and
academic participation Leadership experience preferred for
candidates interested in a unit-level role Commitment to
