Job Description Psychiatrist-Hybrid Job Requirements: Doctoral
Degree in clinical or counseling psychology (Ph.D./PsyD) Current
NYS registration as a Psychologist environment Bilingual (Spanish /
English) is a plus but not a requirement Must be able to work 25
hours a week Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Assessment
of patients referred by Primary Care Provider (PCP) using evidenced
based assessment tools. Treatment of behavioral health conditions
using evidenced based approaches (CBT, Motivational Interviewing,
crisis intervention, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and behavioral
activation). Make treatment recommendations. Refers the patient to
Psychiatrist as deemed appropriate Monitor client treatment through
review of clinical documentation as well as coordination of care
with other health providers and health homes.
