Location: Westfield, NJ Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour (Based on

deserve. We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Outpatient
Veterinary Technician who thrives in a dynamic environment and
enjoys working closely with both pets and their people. About the
Role Our Outpatient Technicians are true “jack-of-all-trades”
professionals. This role requires strong technical skills,
confidence in client communication, and the ability to manage a
busy appointment schedule efficiently. You’ll report directly to
the Outpatient Supervisor and play a vital role in supporting
veterinarians during office visits while ensuring a smooth,
compassionate client experience. What You’ll Do Patient Care &
Clinical Support Provide compassionate, attentive care for pets and
their families Assist veterinarians during office visits and
outpatient procedures Safely and effectively restrain pets Assist
with diagnostic digital radiographs Diagnostics & Technical Skills
Administer vaccines and collect blood samples using multiple
venipuncture techniques Collect and process fecal and urine samples
Complete specialty testing protocols (ACTH Stim, Bile Acids, LDDST,
etc.) Dispense medications as directed and assist with pharmacy
duties Client Communication Take thorough patient histories Educate
clients on vaccine protocols, preventatives, and treatment plans
Provide clear instructions and answer client questions confidently
Hospital Support Maintain accurate, professional documentation in
electronic medical records Clean and sanitize cages and equipment
Assist at the front desk as needed Perform additional duties to
support hospital operations What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year
of Veterinary Technician experience (Required) Strong technical and
venipuncture skills Excellent communication and client education
abilities Strong time management and problem-solving skills Ability
to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with
a positive attitude Schedule Options 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Day
and night shifts available Weekend availability required
