Type: Contract Shift: Day – 5 × 8-hour shifts Job Summary The
Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic
vascular and echocardiographic ultrasound examinations. This role
supports physicians by producing accurate imaging, ensuring patient
comfort, and maintaining equipment and documentation standards
across outpatient clinical settings. Key Responsibilities Perform
vascular ultrasound and echocardiographic examinations as ordered
Operate ultrasound and echo equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality
images Prepare and position patients for examinations while
ensuring comfort and safety Accurately document studies and
findings in the electronic health record system Travel between
multiple outpatient locations as needed Maintain and troubleshoot
ultrasound equipment Communicate effectively with patients,
providers, and clinical staff Adhere to departmental protocols,
quality standards, and safety guidelines Support workflow
efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment Required
Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Completion of
an approved Echocardiography or Vascular Ultrasound Training
Program Certifications: ARDMS registered in Adult Echocardiography
(RDCS) OR CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Preferred
Qualifications Prior experience in vascular and/or echocardiography
ultrasound Familiarity with Philips ultrasound systems (e.g., CX50,
Affiniti) Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record
systems Strong patient-focused communication and interpersonal
