NYC Health Hospitals/Kings County’s Heart Health Center provides heart failure patients with comprehensive services to improve heart health and maintenance in a community-based setting. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, as well as coordinate clinical care, in the outpatient Cardiovascular Medicine Sub-specialty clinics and the Cardiac Non-invasive procedure lab Lead the delivery of quality patient care services - meeting or exceeding quality, patient and employee safety, and patient satisfaction Obtain complete history and physicals Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests Order medications and medical devices, as needed Interpretation of echocardiographic studies, exercise stress tests, and stress echocardiograms Perform and interpret Transesophageal echocardiograms Interpretation of EKG and Zio Provide instruction for Medical Students Qualifications Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiovascular Medicine Exceptional Benefits Include: Competitive compensation package 10% 401K company contribution after one year of service, with 3% company contribution starting day one Choice of a three tiered, starting at FREE medical plans starting day one Excellent dental insurance including orthodontics coverage starting day one Generous paid time off program CME days and dollars Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center Visa candidates are considered Base salary - $247,690 Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY ) , a tax-exempt organization affiliated with NYC Health Hospitals, is one of the largest physician groups in New York State and directly employs nearly 4,000 physicians and allied health professionals who serve seven of New York City’s public hospitals, numerous public health clinics, and the city’s Correctional Health Service.
