Technician for a travel job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technician - Discipline: Allied
Health Professional - Start Date: 02/22/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks -
37.5 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type:
Travel - Perform echocardiograms on patients to assess heart
function and detect abnormalities - Operate and maintain ultrasound
equipment ensuring it functions correctly - Explain procedures to
patients and address any concerns they may have - Review and
interpret preliminary results, highlighting any abnormal findings
for the cardiologist - Record and store echocardiogram images and
patient information in the medical records system - Collaborate
with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure
accurate diagnosis and treatment - Follow safety protocols and
infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety -
Monitor patient vitals and response during the procedure to ensure
their well-being - Maintain continuing education and stay updated
with advances in echocardiography technology and practices -
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the
diagnostic procedure Registered Diagnostics Cardiac Sonographer
(RDCS) issued by American Registry for Diagnostic Medicine for
Sonographers (ARDMS). /nPediatric Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech
