travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description &

02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 Weeks (ends 05/23/2026) - Hours: 40
hrs/week - Shift: Primarily Days - At least one evening per week
required - Some Saturdays required - Two weekends per month -
Positions Available: 2 Unit & Setting - Setting: Outpatient /
Ambulatory Care - Patient Population: Adult Diabetes Management -
Location: Brooklyn, NY (11203) ? Requirements - License: Active New
York State RN - Education: BSN required - Certification: Diabetes
Education Certification required - Experience: - Outpatient RN
experience - Strong knowledge of diabetes management - Hands-on
experience with CGMs and insulin pumps Key Responsibilities -
Provide comprehensive diabetes education and patient counseling -
Educate patients on insulin administration, CGMs, insulin pumps,
and glucagon use - Troubleshoot diabetes devices and coordinate
with vendors - Conduct glucose tolerance testing - Support
medication prior authorizations and insurance appeals - Upload and
manage patient device data for in-person and virtual visits -
Provide nutrition and exercise counseling - Collaborate with
endocrinologists, NPs, dietitians, and health coaches - Support
patients with diabetes distress and coordinate referrals as needed
