Job Description:
At Encompass Health Corporation, we are dedicated to advancing
the field of patient care through our network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice services. We are
currently seeking a Therapy Team Leader to oversee a
multi-disciplinary team ensuring the delivery of therapeutic
services to our patients. The Therapy Team Leader will play a
critical role in shaping the therapeutic environment, overseeing
the implementation of therapy programs, and ensuring compliance
with all federal, state, and local regulations. This position
requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a deep
understanding of therapeutic and rehabilitative processes, and the
ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare
setting. Lead, direct, and evaluate the activities of therapy
staff. Develop, implement, and assess therapy programs in line with
patient needs and organizational goals. Ensure compliance with
healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Mentor and train
therapy team members on the latest in clinical practices and
technologies. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to
create comprehensive care plans for patients. Manage departmental
budgets and ensure adequate resources for optimal department
operations. Report on therapy department performance and implement
improvements when necessary. Proven experience in managing diverse
therapy teams Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of
rehabilitative and therapeutic practices and guidelines Ability to
handle multiple tasks and maintain calm under pressure Proficient
in healthcare management software and record keeping Medical

Licensed to practice as a therapist in the state. Certification in
healthcare leadership, such as the Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CRC) or similar.
