Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech
Pathologist to join our diverse team, providing superior
rehabilitative care to patients with speech, language, swallowing,
or hearing issues. This role involves working across both
facility-based and home-based settings, reflecting our commitment
to delivering high-quality, personalized care tailored to the needs
of our patients. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health
Corporation, you will assess patient conditions, develop treatment
plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Evaluate patient
speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
abilities. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on
individual patient needs and goals. Provide therapy sessions in
both individual and group settings. Educate patients and families
on communication techniques and strategies to cope with speech and
language impairments. Document patient progress and modify
treatment plans as necessary. Strong understanding of
speech-language pathology principles and practices. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team and independently. Proficiency in using medical software
for patient documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA).
