Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Newark, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,722 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU RN – New Jersey Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday), 19-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:2 Highlights: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with comprehensive critical care services including cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic monitoring Advanced technology environment utilizing EPIC charting system and Medtronic pacemakers Flexible float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU based on experience and appropriate assignments Collaborative interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and specialized interpretation services Comprehensive patient population caring for infants, pediatrics, and adolescents with varied acuity levels Professional development opportunity with extensive orientation and ongoing training modules Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of application Minimum 2 years of PICU critical care experience required; 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Current BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care required Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, Medtronic pacemakers, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias EPIC charting system experience required Documented skills checklist demonstrating critical care and cardiac competencies Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic pediatric critical care environment where you will utilize advanced clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of critically ill children and their families.
