Pharmacist Location: King of Prussia, PA Agency: TalentBurst Inc. Pay: $2,400 to $2,600 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Pharmacist King of Prussia, PA 13 weeks Active Pharmacist license with retail pharmacy experience required. Duration: 3 months initially (possibility of extension and conversion to FTE) Shift: 8hours between (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) EST M-F (40hrs a week). The Specialty Pharmacist serves as the pharmacy liaison between the specialty pharmacy, specialty clinics, and patients. The individual will be responsible for maintaining competency in the unique aspects of various pediatric specialty drug therapy. The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to this patient population served and support the Director to provide overall leadership in directing the clinical-related specialty pharmacy activities and services. Job Responsibilities: BELOW RESPONSIBILITIES ARE SAME with TWEAKS TO VERBIAGE AS THE SCOPE IS SPECIALTY PHARMACY -Responsible to provide accurate and timely specialty pharmacy services for patients with specialty medication needs. -Provides clinical practice/monitoring based on Policy and all accrediting agency and regulatory guidelines for specialty medication dispensing and necessary follow-up. -Provides quality specialty medication pharmacotherapy and collaborates with physicians, nurses, other health care professionals as well as the patient/caregiver to deliver safe patient care and optimal patient care and outcomes. -Refers patients for enrollment to other Pharmacy services when applicable. -Responsible to complete all patient documentation timely and in compliance with policy. -Apply knowledge of URAC and Joint Commission Accreditation Standards & State Pharmacy Regulations -Provides and receives accurate and timely communication to render interdisciplinary patient care. -Provides drug information and education to clinic staff, patients and families, and specialty pharmacy staff regarding the specialty pharmacy service line and pertinent disease states. -Provides training and orientation to new specialty pharmacy staff regarding pharmacy services, including timely completion and approval of prior authorizations, enrollment in financial assistance programs, and other regular tasks assigned. -Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure that pharmacy products are prepared and distributed accurately, with the appropriate quantity and at the time the product is needed. -Participates in departmental process improvement initiatives. -Performs other duties as assigned by Specialty Pharmacy Management.BELOW RESPONSIBILITIES ARE ADDED TO PROVIDE MORE SPECIFIC SCOPE/EXPANDING ON "PHARMACY SERVICES” FOR SPECIALTY PHARMACIST -Manage enrollment and onboarding process for new specialty pharmacy patients. -Initiate and manage prior authorization process for new specialty prescriptions -Assume oversight of specialty medication management within area(s) of specialty practice. -Responsible for daily clinic operations, such as initial and follow-up visits or telephone calls with patients and being available to serve as a drug information resource within specialty clinics. -Responsible for answering clinical and drug access questions and providing feedback to management regarding opportunities and process improvements. -Participate in the expansion of specialty and ambulatory pharmacy services as needed. -Precept pharmacy students, interns, and/or residents as needed. Required Skills & Experience: -Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: - One (1) to two (2) years of Specialty Pharmacy experience. -Knowledge of pharmacy information systems, automated dispensing technology and personal computers. -Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to neonate, child, and adolescent.
