WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a local contract nursing job in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 9 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious ambulatory surgical center in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 6:30am - 3:30pm. - Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post-operative care in accordance with the anesthesiologist’s or attending physician’s directions. - Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness per nursing protocols. - Accurately document all nursing activities and complete a discharge note once the patient is cleared for transfer. - Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are properly stocked and readily available. - Assist the anesthesiologist or attending physician with patient care as needed. Job Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. - Current RN license in the state of practice (or willingness to obtain). - 2 years of experience as a PACU Nurse. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
