Job Description:
Senior Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This
position is instrumental in providing high-quality psychological
services to the geriatric population within skilled nursing
facilities and assisted living communities. As part of our team,
the LCSW will assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and
behavioral disorders affecting our elderly clients. This role
involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to create
comprehensive treatment plans that enhance the mental health and
overall well-being of our clients. Conduct psychological
assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional well-being
of clients. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical
experience and knowledge. Provide individual, group, and family
therapy sessions to address issues such as depression, anxiety, and
other mental health conditions. Collaborate with healthcare
providers, including physicians and nurses, to integrate mental
health care with overall health strategies. Document and maintain
client records with strict adherence to professional standards, and
regulatory requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary team
meetings to provide insights into the psychological aspects of
patient care. Engage families and caregivers in the treatment
process, providing education and support as needed. Strong
understanding of the psychological theories and practices relevant
to geriatric care. Ability to diagnose and treat a wide array of
mental health conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed clinical
documentation. Strong ethical framework for handling sensitive and
confidential information. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice. Additional certifications
related to mental health or geriatric care are preferred.
