Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Reading, PA. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver high-quality surgical care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 6:45AM - 2:45PM. /n - Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the facility EMR in a timely manner. /n - Prepares the operating room for the patient/procedure and assists other staff with room breakdown. /n - Assists in patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety. /n - Provides accurate care and proper handling of specimens. /n /n/n Job Requirements: /n - 1 year of experience in a hospital OR or surgical center required. /n /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current RN license for the state or willingness to obtain. /n /n - BLS certification from the American Heart Association. /n /n - ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
