Job Description Overview Hospice RN - Days (Community-Based/Home Care) 8:30AM to 4:30PM Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking for a rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference every day? Join our Community Hospice team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and provide meaningful, hands-on care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Your Role As a Hospice RN, you’ll support patients and their families by delivering expert care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Working in the community, you’ll assess needs, manage symptoms, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, and serve as a trusted guide through end-of-life care. What You’ll Do - Provide skilled nursing care and symptom management in patients' homes - Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and what to expect - Collaborate with a compassionate interdisciplinary team - Ensure comfort, dignity, and peace for patients in their final journey Job Details What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a nurse who brings both clinical expertise and a heart for hospice care. The ideal candidate understands hospice principles and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Qualifications - Current RN license in New York State - At least 1 year of recent hands-on nursing experience - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Valid NY State driver’s license and reliable transportation - Experience in hospice, home care, or oncology is preferred - Strong communication skills and a passion for compassionate care Make a difference where it matters most - apply today to become part of a caring and mission-driven team. Salary Range USD $95,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr. Salary Range USD $95,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
