Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Elmhurst, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Title: Ultrasound Tech - RDMS Registered Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 AM-8:30 AM Description: Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, or cardiac (based on training and certification). - Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly. - Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to ensure optimal image quality. - Capture and label images accurately for physician interpretation. - Maintain detailed documentation and patient records in the EMR/PACS system. - Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout the procedure. - Follow infection control and safety protocols. - Assist radiologists and referring physicians with image interpretation and clinical questions.
