Nurse Educator (RN) for MATERNAL Services in Far Rockaway, NY! Job
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse
Educator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play
a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of nursing
staff through effective training and development programs. This
position requires a strong background in nursing, along with
expertise in pediatrics, critical care, and medical terminology.
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for developing training
materials, conducting educational sessions, and ensuring compliance
with healthcare regulations. - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Pay
Rate: Up to $100/hour - Shift: DAYS - MUST HAVE PRIOR MATERNAL
SERVICES EXPERIENCE Responsibilities - Develop and implement
comprehensive training programs for nursing staff, focusing on best
practices in patient care. - Conduct educational sessions on
various topics including anatomy, medical terminology, and critical
care procedures. - Assess the educational needs of nursing staff
and tailor training programs accordingly. - Monitor and evaluate
the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary
adjustments to improve outcomes. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA
regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records. -
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to stay updated on
advancements in nursing practices and incorporate them into
training. - Provide mentorship and support to nurses in various
settings including ICU, pediatrics, and nursing homes.
Requirements: - NY RN License - BLS/ACLS/PALS Certified - NIHSS
Certified - 2 years' experience as a Nurse Educator - 2 years'
experience in Maternal Services REQUIRED
