Description We are in search of a Medical Receptionist to be part of our team in the private medical industry. This role is located in FOREST HILLS, New York. The workplace is a dynamic environment where you will be the first point of contact for our patients. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the initial point of contact by greeting and assisting guests upon their arrival.

- Handle a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.

- Take detailed messages and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipient.

- Assist guests with their queries and provide necessary information.

- Maintain a systematic record of inbound telephone calls.

- Ensure the front desk area remains orderly and presents a positive image of the practice. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.

- Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems in a timely and detail oriented manner.

- Experience in handling inbound telephone calls, including transferring calls and taking detailed messages.

- Ability to direct guests to the appropriate department or personnel within the medical facility.

- Exceptional guest assistance skills, providing information, answering queries, and ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take detailed and clear messages.

- Familiarity with medical terminologies and procedures would be advantageous.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
