We also partner with local employers - large and small - to help keep their employees healthy at work and at home.\n\n The hospital is conveniently located on Chester Pike (Rt. 13) near I-95 in Ridley Park.\n\n The Emergency Department is comprised of 16 beds. RNs working in the ED treat adult and pediatric patients with various diagnosis such as Resp. GI, DM, DKA, Chest pain and shortness of breath. RN's perform Pretreatment guidelines available for all emergency department patients and must be able to start IVs, perform EKGS, phlebotomy, and transport. \n\n \n\n The Emergency Room RN is responsible for the following job tasks.\n\n\n\tAssessing Patients\n\tDeveloping Individualized Plans of Care\n\tFollowing of Five Medication Rights\n\tPerforming Patient Care\n\tResponding to Crises, Using De-escalation, Restraints and Patient Seclusion\n\tDocumenting Nursing Process\n\tCommunicating with the Physician\n\tUtilizing the nursing process, provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.\n\n\n\n\tCoordinate patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients and families.\n\tCommunicate, as appropriate, the patient's clinical condition, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.\n\tDay can vary from assessments, using IV skills, an EKG, or giving meds to utilizing Combative Patient De-escalation tools/skills training. ER RNs must possess either CEN or ATCN certification.\n\n\n Experience/Requirements:\n\n\n\tRNs must have at least one year of Critical Care Experience\n\tPA RN licensure required \n\tCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS\n\tCertifications Preferred: CPI, Hazmat\n\tWill float to Critical Care areas as assigned.\n\tWeekends required (max Every third Weekend).\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n Location: Crozer Health - 7010 - Emergency RoomSchedule: Per-Diem =Per-Diem, 4 =Per-Diem Shift, PRN
