Job Description:
ResponsibilitiesIs responsible for assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating and if necessary, delegating patient care
for a specifiedgroup of patients. Collaborates with physicians,
medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of
care.Provides care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or
geriatric patient. Utilizes knowledge of the principles ofgrowth
and development appropriate to the patients age to ensure that care
provided meets the unique, physical andpsychosocial needs of the
patient. Involves appropriate parties (i.e., patients family or
guardian, outside agencies) in theassessment, treatment and
continuing care of the patient as needed.QualificationsSuccessful
completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of
nursing. Current license with the New JerseyState Board of
Examiners of Nurses as a registered nurse. Current CPR
certification. Interpersonal communication skills(both written and
oral) required in order to educate and comfort patients and their
families, maintain effective contacts witha variety of hospital
personnel and maintain appropriate documentation records.
Proficiency in developing a patients planof care, implementing
effective nursing care and evaluating outcome of nursing
interventions. Ability to read andcommunicate in the English
language.Conditions of EmploymentCovid Vaccination is a requirement
