Lighthouse -Hospice is hiring PRN On-Call Registered Nurses (RN) to provide patient care in and around the Cherry Hill Area! - -** On-Call hours are flexible! We are looking for RNs to be On-Call 430p to 8am M-F and weekends are 24 hours Sat and Sun ** -Lighthouse Hospice is a premier provider of end-of-life care. We are growing rapidly and are looking for skilled individuals to join us in our journey. -If you are looking for a career with a purpose and a supportive team culture, then this is the position for you!The On-Call RN is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventative and supportive care to the hospice patient and family. The On-Call RN utilizes assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life. The On-Call RN assumes on-call coverage for the designated teams and functions as an Interdisciplinary (IDT) team member to provide hospice care, support , and interventions after hours.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. -
• Hospice/home health experience preferred but not required.
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
  • The Covid-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Final Rule, also known as CMS IFR, requires that all patient-facing staff, as well as those that are in contact with patient-facing staff, be fully vaccinated, or have a documented religious or medical exemption. This important rule is required for all healthcare organizations that receive federal funds through Medicare or Medicaid. Therefore, Care Hospice requires all colleagues, including new hires prior to their first day of employment, to submit appropriate documentation showing, i) completion of the full vaccination series against COVID-19 (i.e., two weeks past completing their complete COVID-19 vaccination series), or ii) approved exemption (medical contraindications or a sincerely held religious belief) through the formal vaccine exemption process from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
