Job Summary: Seeking experienced client-facing Project Manager for Benefit Administration Systems implementation projects.Selected candidates will be responsible for enforcing standards, applying project management methodologies, preparing project progress/health reports, and tracking of project activities.This position applies the project's selected project management methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for their assigned projects from initiation through implementation.This position is responsible for reporting the status of their assigned projects to both internal and external stakeholders, and requires excellent communication skills for both client communications and internal stakeholders. This position is located in 101 Woodcrest Road, Cherry Hill, NJ and reports directly to the Director, Project Management, TBO Apps.Key Responsibilities:

  • Key client facing role with overall accountability for the end-to-end implementation.Responsible for overall client relationship during entire implementation lifecycle.Lead point of contact for client's previous record keeping organization (if applicable).
  • As needed, participate in the sales and due diligence activities.
  • Overall accountability and responsibility for the planning and delivery of all components of the Implementation Program (including process, data, and system development) and transfer of responsibility to the VPSD and the ongoing Delivery organizations.
  • Responsible for scope management versus agreed Statement of Work and Service Delivery Model.Where new scope items are identified is responsible for ensuring the Change Control process is followed and reviews and approves all Change Controls and associated plans and costs before presenting to the Change Control Board.
  • Responsible for financial management including direct management of costs and financial reporting.
  • Accountable for timely Cap Ex submission at project initiation and tracking through completion.
  • Responsible for delivering and monitoring delivery of Implementation program to the agreed upon project plans.Work closely with Implementation Leads to leverage impact analysis and progress report.
  • Leads both the internal and external governance process for all transition deliverables.Facilitates Client
  • Steering Committee meetings during Implementation period along with the Account Executive.
  • Responsible for ensuring that resource plans exist (Conduent Resources) and staffed per the work plan with input from the Implementation Leads.Escalate significant gaps in a timely basis to the appropriate delivery services leader.
  • Proactively identifying and managing cross-functional Issues and Risks to ensure they are being resolved, escalated and managed to avoid a negative impact.Ensures the early escalation of stalled or disputed issues following the issue management process.Primary escalation point for Implementation Leads.
  • Ensures that the service-line Implementation Leads are assertively managing the cross-functional, cross organizational, and integration issues.
  • Ensure the TBO project management methodology (e.g.GPS/GPM/SPARK-ITs) is followed during each phase
  • KPI's:Deliver on time, on budget, on specification, and at a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma certification.
  • Minimum of five (5+) plus years of Project Management experience, preferably in mid-large scale IT/Benefits project implementations
  • Demonstrated leadership/influencing leadership and cross functional teams and maintaining accountability for major business initiatives
  • Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to frequent changing priorities
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate decisions/recommendations
  • Must possess strong communications skills (interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written)
  • Must possess an exceptional aptitude for negotiation and have influence with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to provide competent and proactive leadership.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic
  • environments.
