POSITION: The Business Development (BD) Associate, reporting to the
Engagement Manager (EM) or Associate Principal (AP), will join a
team that uses cutting-edge technology to solve challenges for both
the front-end and back-end architecture and deliver exceptional
experiences for clients and users. We’re seeking a highly motivated
BD Associate ready to support the efficient management of business
development workflow, finances, and resources to address incoming
opportunities, and align with the BD lead and EM/AP on the overall
scope and timeline to support proposal development. The ideal
candidate is a goal-oriented and organized management expert who
has experience in supporting sales, developing proposal responses
(RFPs) in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, managing projects,
tracks, documents, and monitors tasks. This remote role prefers
candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone, particularly the
Philadelphia or New York metro areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Our employees are tasked with delivering

These results are achieved by: Essential Functions: Align with
business, clinical, and technology stakeholders on analytics
strategies and partner with strategic leaders to identify
initiatives which can drive significant business value. Assist the
EM/AP to develop contracts, statement of work (SOW), targeted
proposals, solutions to complex analytical problems, and detailed
responses to RFPs (request for proposals) in accordance with the
applicable program and project governance guidelines, policies, and
practices. Manage the intake of such initiatives & client requests
and assist the EM/AP to develop proposals with detailed timeline
and budget for internal and external clients. Facilitate the
subsequent scoring, prioritizing and conversion of such proposals
to projects. Provide information and data analytics for and report
to the EM or research leader, following their directions for
project tasks and goals. Work with Senior Vice President (SVP),
Business Development to assist with sales calls, reaching out to
prospective clients, and preparing for BD outreach at medical and
industry conferences Prepare and coordinate the necessary materials
for each client meeting, including presentation slides, reports,
handouts, worksheets, Conduct research on each new opportunity and
develop material to help prepare the business leaders for initial
meetings with new clients. Assist the business development
leadership and the EM/AP in translating strategic goals and
priorities into tactical plans and objectives for the department.
Develop, coordinate, and organize business and meeting schedules
for BD team members, executives, clients and other stakeholders.
Schedule and plan for video conferences, speaking engagements,
programs, meetings, conferences, professional development workshops
and other important project events. Provide draft inputs to written
products like literature reviews, progress reports, research
reports, briefings, and other key documents. Develop and manage
project documents, such as the project business case, charter, RACI
matrix, work breakdown structure, and risks and issues log. Drive
adoption of agile principles to enable teams to deliver exceptional
analytic solutions to meet client’s business and research needs.
Perform all other duties as assigned. Required to perform duties
outside of normal work hours based on business needs. Job
Complexities: Work on a diverse range of critical and complex
problems of significant scope, where analysis of situations or data
requires evaluation of a variety of factors, an in-depth
understanding of current business and technological trends,
organizational objectives and political dynamics. Exercise judgment
as a seasoned professional and manager with a full understanding of
industry best practices and established policies and procedures.

practices, digital strategy, business imperatives and financial
information. Work in a fast-paced environment where critical

direction from functional executive. Provide operational and
project direction to department managers and monitors performance

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed
below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge,
skill and/or abilities required. Education : Bachelor's degree in a
technical discipline (Master's degree preferred) Experience and/or
Training : 1 years of experience in sales and marketing within the
healthcare domain 2 years of progressive project and program
management experience in a global organization Experience of
working with a data analytics and modeling team, preferably around
healthcare claims data and commercial analytics in the life science
industry Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on
multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as a team
player. Ability to comprehend the views of internal and external
stakeholders, and clearly articulate thoughts. Ability to manage
multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities. Ability to
work in shifts to support global client-base. Excellent
interpersonal skills with the ability to productively interact and
negotiate with all levels of customers and company personnel.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to: perform
detail-oriented work accurately, handle several assignments
simultaneously, maintain confidential information, and produce

instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Education : Master’s degree in life sciences, healthcare management
or similar Experience and/or Training : Health sciences industry
experience a plus Experience working with Big Data and Analytics
projects, familiar with Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data
Integration platforms Licenses/Certificates : Technology/Equipment
: Proficiency using the following software/hardware: Jira,
Confluence, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Outlook, Visio, SQL queries The ability to learn and
