Full Job Description
Hollywood Building Services is seeking a proactive and experienced
Operations Manager to oversee its Floor Care and Special Projects
Division. This role will be responsible for supervising the
successful execution of non-routine janitorial projects including
floor refinishing, deep cleaning, and post-construction cleanups.
The right candidate will be a hands-on leader with the ability to
manage multiple crews across different locations, maintain high
quality and safety standards, and efficiently control labor and
material costs. This is a vital leadership role within a fast-paced
and growing company.

their careers.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct job site walk-throughs and prepare scopes, proposals, budgets, and estimates
- Oversee field operations across multiple job sites, managing internal staff and subcontractors
- Train and mentor crews, providing guidance and ensuring readiness for project execution
- Perform routine site inspections to uphold project quality and enforce safety standards
- Manage materials and warehouse inventory to ensure appropriate supply levels
- Provide daily reports on job status, labor/material usage, and any obstacles encountered
- Review and approve completed work to confirm it meets client, safety, and regulatory standards
- Resolve on-site challenges and disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain open and professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned by
managementQualifications:
- Proven supervisory or management experience in janitorial or floor care industries
- Strong working knowledge of floor care techniques: stripping/waxing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, tile refinishing, and grout cleaning
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with floor care equipment and procedures (required)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and crews in varied locations
- Comfortable with software and technology for reporting and job tracking
- Valid driver's license - required
