for the best talent for a Manager, Patient & Site Engagement to be
located in Spring House, PA. Purpose: The Manager, Patient & Site
Engagement (PSE) is responsible for implementing programmatic
recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies in clinical
trials. This role will develop and implement program- and
trial-level PSE strategies, including site engagement, and
advocacy, in alignment with all applicable compliance policies and
procedures. The manager will collaborate with local, site-facing
roles, and partners in the Innovation & Advocacy teams within
Global Development to shape fit-for-purpose strategies and tactics
while gathering insights to inform and optimize these
strategies.You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing program- and trial-level PSE
strategies, including site engagement, and advocacy, ensuring
alignment with compliance policies and procedures.
- Gathering local insights to inform and optimize the development
of global program- and trial-level PSE strategies.
- Collaborating with site-facing roles and external partners to
gather insights that inform tailored strategies for patient
engagement.
- Continually evaluating and optimizing PSE strategies and
tactics to enhance effectiveness and adaptability.
- Identifying and owning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and
conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to evaluate the
effectiveness of strategies and tactics across programs and
trials.
- Managing program- and study-specific vendor activities to
support recruitment and engagement initiatives.
- Driving innovative strategies and novel tactics to build and
maintain enduring relationships with sites and patient
representative groups (e.g., Patient Advocacy Groups).
- Creating site-facing materials, training teams, and developing
dashboards to track the progress of initiatives and recruitment
efforts.
- Managing recruitment timelines to meet local submission
processes while maintaining documentation of recruitment
development and quality standards.
- Supporting benchmarking and best methods sharing across
clinical teams and external partners, ensuring alignment with
industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentoring and supporting the onboarding of new team members,
fostering employee engagement, inclusion, and adherence to Credo
Behaviors.Qualifications / Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in
Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing,
Pharmacy). An advanced degree is preferred.Experience & Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or
related industries is required.
- Proven performance focused on strategic patient engagement,
recruitment, and diversity initiatives is preferred.
- Strong clinical research operational knowledge and experience
across multiple study phases and understanding of GCP is
required.
- Proficiency in analysis, strategy development and execution,
customer and market knowledge, and digital marketing strategy is
required.
- Experience in creating new or improved customer experiences,
particularly for underrepresented populations is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed organization,
leading and influencing without direct authority is required.
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability
to set priorities based on business analysis and customer research
is required.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and networking skills,
with the ability to connect across a global organization is
required.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to shape direction in
new areas with limited guidance is required.
- Travel up to 15% of the time, defined by business needs.The
anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 to
$197,800.The anticipated base pay range for this position in the
San Francisco Bay Area is $141,000 to $227,700.The Company
maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation
programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for
an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the
applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus
intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results
by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over
a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's
discretion on an individual basis.

per calendar year
