Position Highlights
This position can sit in any American Water, regulated location
across our enterprise.
Responsible for working with the entire organization including
state rate leaders, in-house regulatory and operations counsel,
rate support personnel and the finance team to implement and
support the Company's national and multijurisdictional rate and
regulatory strategies, practices and processes in a consistent and
integrated manner across all operating subsidiaries. Support the
identification, development and implementation of enterprise-wide
rate and regulatory strategies and best practices within each
division and state. Advise and support all companies within the
enterprise including service company and parent company on public
utility regulatory and policy matters. Support the development of
Company-wide rate and regulatory policies and strategies.
Responsible for other legal duties as may be assigned by the Chief
Rates & Regulatory Counsel, Chief Regulatory Policy Counsel, Deputy
General Counsel or General Counsel from time to time.
