ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: 100% Remote

SHIFT: M-F, 830 - 5pm EST

We are looking for a hands-on Application Manager who can play a key role in leading a team to create applications and integrations that will transform how we interact with our customers. The ideal candidate has experience with leading a team of at least 3 developers while -architecting within the Microsoft stack, has a strong understanding of data warehouse integrations and has cloud experience (specifically in Snowflake).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of 5-6 developers while being hands on technical alongside them.
  
• Design and deploy the API's to support our next-generation integration product that will be available via 3 rd party websites to create direct data feeds from our customers to us.
  
• Design and deploy micro-services that will get us away from a batch services model.
  
• Work with the project management group to communicate across multiple teams in order to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards a common goal.
  
• Optimize existing code that's written in the Microsoft stack and create new code and APIs with the goal of creating seamless data integrations.
  
• Work with the data warehouse and data governance teams in order to ensure the quality of the data that's coming in and going out of the data warehouse.
  
• Play a key role in the upcoming Snowflake implementation.
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS
  
  
  • 
    
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or similar is required. Master's degree is preferred.
    
  • Experience with building and creating product-centric API's that have been offered by 3 rd party services to perform direct data feed integrations.
    
  • Experience designing and developing applications (both mobile and desktop) using the Microsoft Tech Stack at an enterprise-level.
    
  • Strong understanding of data and data warehouses. While you won't be architecting data warehouses, the APIs that you build will be data-focused, so a strong understanding here is required.
    
  • Experience with transitioning from batch services to micro-services.
    
  • Proven track record of playing a key role in a Snowflake implementation.
    
  • Excellent communication skills across all aspects of the business and the ability to provide pertinent information to stakeholders.
    
  • If you have a background in creating Logistics or Finance-based solutions, it's a plus but not required.
