Takeda as a Sr. Manager, Business Operations, Global Evidence and
Outcomes where you will oversee and manage the operational
activities of GEO projects, including the initiation, tracking,
completion, and reporting of studies and may serve as the
therapeutic operational area lead for interfacing with internal
stakeholders and external investigators to develop and track
project plans and budgets. As part of the GEO team, you will report
to the Director or Senior Director, GEO and work within a
multidisciplinary, matrixed organization to execute GEO projects
for one or more therapies in an assigned therapeutic areaHow you
will contribute:
- Identify and drive innovative process improvements with
significant organizational impact and takes on, as needed,
non-project responsibilities, which can include project management
processes and systems
- Manage the contracting process for the GEO projects,
interfacing directly with Contracts, Legal, Compliance and Finance,
including processing, tracking, reporting and archiving in all
appropriate systems according to local procedures and policies
- Contribute to pre- fair market value (FMV) evaluation of
proposed study budgets and oversee the conduct of FMV assessments
of budgets submitted for approved studies in accordance with Takeda
policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the collection, archiving and reporting of
appropriate study level information (including patient safety
information) and deliverables. Communicate study activities to
internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate the management of the internal iEnvision system (or
equivalent system) and document repositories per Takeda SOPs and
processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and contributes to the
development and updates of SOP, Job Aids and system upgrades
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, in particular the
use of real world evidence studies in pharmaceutical
development
- Strong understanding of budget management and forecasting
- Strong understanding of ethics and compliance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to 'translate'
across functional linesMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline, or business
administration with an understanding of R&D, plus minimum of 7
years of professional experience. PMP Certification is a plus
- Project management proficiency with solid process orientation
and proven ability to manage with multiple projects and prioritize
between deliverables.
- Experience with late stage clinical studies, research
collaborations and real world evidence studies is a plus
- Ability to communicate and interact thoughtfully,
transparently, and appropriately with a variety of stakeholders
both internal and external to Takeda.
- Savvy with systems with a high level of proficiency in all
Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and SharePoint
- Experience working in a global organization and within matrix

and Remote Work policy.Base Salary Range: 124,600 to $178,000based
on candidate professional experience level. Employees may also be
