Job Summary Eastern Solar Glass is growing looking for a Project Manager to add to our team. The Project Manager's primary duties involve supporting the sales team and clients through the estimating, design and installation process, including initial site surveys, consultation, assisting with estimating, production, installs and installation coordination. Essential Functions and Duties -- Support sales team and customers with incoming projects -- Special focus on complex and detail-oriented orders/projects -- Coordinate with outsourced vendors, gather quote information and submit orders -- Handle customer inquiries for job status, orders, and changes -- Help sales with quotes by providing input on materials and install times -- Place expedited requests for appropriate orders and communicate with related parties -- Coordinate with installation team or contractors for installs and participate in site surveys -- Coordinate with installation team for scheduling and participate in site surveys -- Keep sales team informed about job status and engage them if necessary -- Keep quote/proof follow up list up to date -- Understand which materials/substrates are appropriate for various applications -- Reporting: job costs, man power & change orders. -- Maintain inventory: ordering & stocking service related materials -- Additional tasks as assigned Requirements -- 2 years of construction and/or glazing experience -- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam; competent in Microsoft Office products Competencies -- Strong work ethic -- Organized and detail-oriented - able to multi-task and simultaneously work on multiple projects -- Self-Motivation - Must be able to work independently and execute complete assignment in time sensitive manner -- Team Player This describes the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
